An Experienced Team of Roofing Craftsmen
Headquartered in Fairfield County, Connecticut, Slate and Copper Services is a full service roofing company. Slate and Copper is owned, and operated by Scott Donahue. Upon finishing high school in 1978, Scott took the family ladder, and a friend’s pickup truck, and began stuffing mailboxes with roofing flyers. What began as an interim undertaking, gradually evolved into a full-fledged entrepreneurial enterprise. Throughout the past 35 years Scott has spearheaded a vast number of roofing, flashing and gutter projects; along the way gaining a reputation for excellence in contracting. Under Scott’s direction Slate and Copper has proven to be an organization that consistently delivers workmanship that is in keeping with the highest standards of the roofing trade. Each and every day Slate and Copper strives to carry forward a legacy of promises kept and responsible stewardship. The mindset is that it is their reputation that is their most valuable asset and accordingly their energies are focused on doing what it takes to create completely satisfied customers by exceeding expectations.
Today the roofing, flashing, and gutter work of Slate and Copper Services is performed by a carefully trained group of craftsmen that have the knowledge and expertise that is essential to consistently execute a level of workmanship that is unsurpassed in the roofing industry. Slate and Copper’s artisan staff travels throughout the Northeastern United States installing, repairing, and restoring roofs. Their proficiency extends to all aspects of traditional steep slope roofing installations including slate roofing, clay tile roofing, copper roofing, wood roofing, standing seam metal roofing, copper flashing installations, copper gutter systems, custom architectural metal details, as well as a wide variety of low slope roofing systems.
Slate and Copper Services structures each project with a detailed contract that stipulates scope of work, schedule, insurance coverage, safety compliance, site condition, installation methods, and material specifications. Each contract large or small is executed in a systematic manner, resulting in roofs and relationships that are constructed to endure.
